Andy Ziegwied, a CMarTech and Director of Sales at Open Ocean Robotics, is a seasoned leader in uncrewed ocean observation. With a wealth of experience at Ocean Aero, Saildrone, and L3Harris (ASV Global), he’s adept at navigating regulatory challenges and societal acceptance. His background spans Macartney Underwater Technology, Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., oceanographic project management at Evans-Hamilton, Inc, and he holds a BS in Oceanography from the University of Washington, Andy combines academic knowledge with practical expertise. As Chair of the MTS Uncrewed Maritime Systems Committee and an AUVSI Cascade Chapter Board member, his influence extends beyond the industry.
